Net turnover
What the company earned from its ordinary trading over the year, before any charges.
Net turnover is income from selling goods and services in the ordinary course of business. It excludes financial income — interest, dividends, exchange gains — and other operating income that does not come from sales.
In Luxembourg there is something to know before using it: the line exists only on the full profit and loss account. The abridged account, which most Luxembourg companies are entitled to file, starts at gross profit or loss — it has no turnover line. Turnover is therefore available for 7.6% of filed periods, and the rest are not hiding it: their form does not ask for it.
That is why the rankings on this site lead with total assets and capital and reserves, and put turnover after them.
